Hi
I have an established member that is showing as banned when he tries to log into the site. He has recently changed ISP but he isn't showing as banned, neither is his IP showing up in the ban list. He can access the site via a proxy which leads me to belive that he is somehow banned by IP. I can't find anything via the admincp - can anyone suggest where else I should be looking? Thanks |

Do you have any modifications that keep users out via IP? Can he see the site at all or can he not even get to the site (if the later, perhaps he is banned via the .htaccess file). Copy the IPs in the banned list, then delete them - now can he get in?

If you want to block proxies, use the Web Proxy Redirector.

He's asking how to unban someone who seems to be banned by proxy.
Your suggestion is like giving a can of gasoline to someone who is on fire. |
