Remove member links for guests

Hi,

I would like to remove links to member profiles from forum index, forumdisplay, forum home and showthread from guest view. This means, that the member name will never be a link, just text for guests.

This would help increase the pagerank flow within my website as PR will never flow to any member pages.

I was thinking, someone could help me with some "if" conditions that I could insert into these pages as instructed that would to the trick for me.

The condition would be different depending on the template you are entering the condition into. So, you might want to list the line you want to put the condition around and the template name for the ones you need help with.

er .. I don't know anything about code ... I'm using the default vBulletin style ...

I'm guessing that for the showthread page, I'll need to make the change in postbit.

In order to remove all those instances, you are going to have to find all the ones you want to remove, no? If you aren't sure what template you are going to have to look in for the code, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code.
