'Message is too short' bug
Our forum has the Minimum Characters Per Post set at 10. A user has been receiving a message when she tries to post that her message is too short, regardless of the length of the message. She tried signing up with a new account on the forum and received the same message. Clearing cache and cookies apparently didn't do anything, but it appears that the issue went away when she accessed the forum using IE instead of Firefox.
Now I am receiving information that another user is experiencing this problem. Does anyone know what is causing it, or have suggestions on how to fix it, other than having the user change his/her browser? |

Have you been using the Facebook Connect modification? Did you happen to uninstall it recently?
If you have, check this: http://www.adminfuel.com/f32/faceboo...1207/#post6449 |

I suggested that the user try Matthewhotdude's fix, but the results are inconclusive. Apparently, the user dropped the laptop yesterday and bought a new one, and is no longer having the problem. Thanks for the assistance, I'm sure I'll have someone else contact me with this issue at some point. |
