Default Need help figuring out the best way to work with moderators

Hi,
With the increased amount of spam on my forum despite all the anti-spam efforts, I have made some top users into moderators.

I have given them access to manage threads and posts. So they now have access to: soft-delete, move, merge, split, stick

I know they have already started deleting some stuff.

The main issue is: How can I have visibility to what they are moderating?

For example, they mark something as delete. Is there a way I can see the list of things marked as delete so I can easily go there and decided whether or not to hard delete them?

Is there a better way to work between Admins and Moderators?

Thanks so much

You can overlook most things at the Statistics & Logs settings at your admincp.

Often people don't understand the merge and split features, make sure you teach them properly.

Not really the question, but, never ever give people access to your ftp account. Make sure they can't run queries, also I would disable the forum manager and permissions.

Set your account as undeletable or unalterable using the config.php and make sure there's no way people can ever overrule you.
This may sound harsh, but better to avoid than fix.

Thanks. yes, they don't have FTP or queries. I only gave the basic "can manage threads" access

I also contacted vbulletin support about the fact that we can't break down what in "can manage threads" we want to give access

I really only wanted to give access to soft delete and move, but I can't , the rest comes with it.

Unless there is another way to do it?

Thanks

Hi, how do I remove access to the moderator control panel, where they can run queries?

And what do you mean that you would disable forum manager?
Thanks
