Album pictures stored on DB ? Possible to make them store on a file ?
Well, my database is started to get way too big due to the fact all the images uploaded are stored on my database. Now I don't think that is good for my CPU usage either, so I was wondering there was a way to make them be stored on file instead of on my database ?
Also if there is, then how can I transfer all my database pictures to a 'file' ? Thanks |

Admin CP > User Albums > Album Picture Storage Type . There is a similar option for avatars (Avatars > User Picture Storage Type) and attachments (Attachments > Attachment Storage Type)

Would that also move existing pictures ?

Yes.
When I did this, I did it on my test board first to make sure all my paths were correct. |

The paths are correct, what exactly are these paths ?
Is it relative to the vB installation, or relative to my server, ie /home/public_html/vb/album ? |

I think avatars and pictures are relative to your forums, but attachments and albums are relative to your server. I would NOT store the albums or attachments in your vb folder. They should not be in your public_html folder at all, but on the same level.
