I am new to vBulletin but I am trying to set up my board to have categories, forums and sub-forums but in some cases I want a forum to act more like a sub-category rather than a forum since I don't want users to start posting threads in there. I can disable posting but it still shows a list of threads.
For example, if our gaming clan wanted to create a forum for a tournament, we try something like this: Tournament Name ->category Muster Area {this is a forum (no posting and no thread listing - more of a sub-category)} Axis {Sub-forum (posting and thread listing)} Allies {Sub-forum (posting and thread listing)} I've uploaded Sorky's Subforum list control but as a newbie, I am finding it difficult understanding what each thing does and I can't find any user manual or documentation explaining each thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! |
