Attachments appear inline with thread text

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in writing a hack that would allow users the option of having the attachments appear inline with the text in a thread instead of below the text in the usual attachments area?

Are you reffering to .txt attachments only ?
Is your idea similar to nfo display mod concept ? (showing ascii art as picture inside thread) ??

No, I want images to appear aligned to the left or right of the text in a thread.

Basically I want thumbnail images to look like they've been placed in the post like in a news article.

This is a default function.

Just use the [attach] bbcode.

That's useful only if the images have already been uploaded.

Once the image has been uploaded you can see it underneath the text box. You just hover over the link or right click on it and click properties to see the attachment ID. So you can upload it and insert it into the post.

Once the image is uploaded, just click on the paperclip icon and you may insert the images wherever you want.

Oh, wow. I feel stupid not knowing that all of these years. LOL Is there a way to align to the left or right?

Nevermind, looks like you can just slap a left or right in the attach tags. Thanks
