Basically I'm having trouble when installing even the simplest Plugins. After following the instructions, they never seem to appear in the vb options. This applies to all Plugins I've tried so far, ones that seem to be working fine for everyone else without any problems.
(Yes I'm using V3.8.2 & only trying 3.8 mods). Generally they simply require you to import the plugin, job done. Plugins & Products > Manage Products > Add/Import Products Is there something that that needs to be done for plugins to appear in options? I've already enabled Plugins, so they should as far I know all be working or at the very atleast appear in vb options. Any help would be much appreciated. - Why do plugins not appear in vb options? thx |

They don't all show in vboptions. They will only show there if the developer added something to the options. Not all plugins have any options.

Ah yea, but all the ones I''ve 'installed' thou should have vb options appear.
I must be missing something, most instructions just have 'import the plugin & it should automatically appear in vb options', yet doesn't seem to work for me? I've also tried many different plugins from a variety of coders, but always same problem. |

Are you refreshing that frame? Perhaps it isn't getting refreshed and therefore the new options can't show up.
Sometimes you need to install another file in order to get something to show up there. Can you link to a mod you are trying to install that isn't having the vboptions show up? |

Yup, definitely refreshed a few times.
Sure, here's two examples of ones: Cyb - Visitors in Last X Hours - A new option should appear but doesn't for this one. Seperate Sticky Threads - This one doesn't actually make a new option appear, but should have an additional option created inside forum display, (Doesn't work). Thx for any advice/help. |

Ok, it doesn't seem to work for me. You just did the following?
- Plugins & Products > Manage Products > Add/Import Products - Does it matter what Product ID is given? I just did: sticky_seperate Apart from that I can't see anything else, I could have done wrong. It seems so simple. Here are 2 screenshots, just incase they might help: ![]() ![]() |

The Edit Product screen you are using is something that you, the user of the product, should not be touching. You have changed the Product ID somehow (it should say "eparate" and you've changed the Version (it should say 3.0.0). Even the Product URL is wrong. I don't understand why you are even looking at that screen, but if you are modifying it, that is probably why it isn't working right. You should be hitting Import Product and then uploading the xml file on the top half of the screen, not Add New Product.

You are not adding the product file you are importing it.
In the add/import product page you need to click browse and find the .xml product file associated with your addon. Then just import that. |

Thx alot for help. Can't rep you guys, so just a big thank you!
It seems it's even easier that I thought, you just import product that's it. I thought you had to manually type in the stats/info below along with importing product, but it's all automatic ![]() |
