I have turned on tagging. I have created a post with a few tags and then rebuilt the cache.
mydomain.com/tags.php shows the tags, but I do not see the tags on the forumhome. Also, from within tags.php, if I search for a tag (which I can see right above the search box) I get.. "Invalid Tag specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" What am I missing? Rick |

I'm pretty sure the tag cloud doesn't show up on the forumhome page unless you manually put it there (it isn't a default option).
As for tag searching, hover over the link and see what it says and if the url is complete. |

*Edit: The keyword seperator was a mistake I made in the Tagging Options. Any idea what I need to edit into the template to get the cloud onto the Forum Home? Rick |

There are mods to put the tag cloud in various locations. Do a search in the mods forums.

I have seen the tag mods, but I didn't realize that a mod was needed. I assumed if I installed a tag mod, it would interfere with the built in tagging system. Thanks

If the mod is for a version of vb that has tagging as a default option, then chances are it works with the built in tagging system.
