Remove sig lines from Private Messages · **Released**: 06-28-2003

Save on bandwidth! Remove signature lines from private messages. Optional: replace with text.

Time to install: less than 2 minutes.

1. In private.php
search for:

Quote:

$message[message] .= $fromuserinfo[signature];

2. comment it out like this:

// $message[message] .= $fromuserinfo[signature];

3. OPTIONAL: if you want to replace it with text, underneath it type this:

Quote:

$message[message] .= "<P><smallfont>Your Text Here</smallfont></P>";

DONE!

I dont' find the code in (root) private.php, my version of vBulletin is the 3.8.2
