OK, I've tried everything I can think of, but I still can't get this favicon to work on my site.
I've added the code everyplace I can think of. I have the icon file in the root and under images. It works on FF just fine, but I can't get it to work on IE8. Other icons work on IE8, so I just can't figure this out. I've searched other threads, and have tried some things there, but nothing works. |

All you have to do is upload the favicon.ico file to the main index section on your server...Thats it.

i guess there's another favicon which overrides the one on your root, try searching the style image folder

I used an image converter to make it a favicon.
I even tried renaming it as that was a solution mentioned. |

Have you added this code in your headinclude template? If not, do it and Ctrl + F5.
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" /> |
