Database Backup Error
I get the following error when trying to backup the database
Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in [path]/includes/class_core.php on line 408 Not sure what I need to do to fix. I have re-installed vbulletin but get the same error each time. |

You should not backup your database from the admin cp. This is from the manual:
Backing Up The Database via SSH/Telnet or Backing Up The Database via phpMyAdmin Restoring The Database via SSH/Telnet or Restoring The Database via phpMyAdmin If you don't have shell access, some people have also reported success with these scripts: MySQLDumper MySQLHotxcopy Bigdump |

The software i use is mysql Administrator, it makes life so easy to backup & restore you can also set up backup schedules. I backup twice a day since ive being hacked.

It appears that sql is running out of memory when trying to do the dump, have your host check, what are you using when trying to do the sql dump?
