Hiding Smilies
I have a lot os milies on my forum and was wondering if there is any way to hide them. I tried 0, but it acts like a 1 instead of hiding.
When I click on the "more" the smiley page takes a long time to load. I'd really like to be able to hide some, such as the Christmas ones. |

You don't have an "edit favorite smilies" link?

No, I think I'd need to get a hack for that.
I can find that hack, but that really wouldn't solve my problem. Maybe the only way is to delete the smilies and readd them later. I have 400 smilies now. I have everything from bunnies to christmas trees. When members post and click on the "More" link, I don't want that page to show all of the smilies available. I'd like to be able to hide the snowmen and christmas tree smilies and such. Right now, it just takes a long time for the full smiley page to load all 400 smiles. |

Oh, I understand what you mean now. Sorry, but deleting and re uploading later is the only solution I can think of.

Same here. I guess it wouldn't be that bad as long as I remember to add them later.
I just know there must be a lot of forums with the amount of smilies that I have. I was wondering if they would have a solution. |

If you delete them, with the intention of uploading again later, you have to consider that all old threads displaying them will show the text (description) of the smiley instead of the smiley. If you can live with that, then delete them.
I agree, a way to hide them from public view without affecting old posts would be useful. |
