How can GIFs be "fixed"?? They always display properly in Internet Explorer/Firefox/Opera/Safari...
The reasons PNGs have problems is because they have something called "alpha transparency". The alpha transparency lets you define how transparent a colored pixel is, whereas with GIFs it's either a transparent pixel or a colored pixel. Now if your image is corrupted, you'll have to find a way to fix the image. Photoshop can do that nicely, if you "Save for web and devices" instead of "Save as". |
