Box on thread listings page
How do I get a box like here on the thread listings page. like the box that says
General vBulletin Discussions: General modification & vBulletin discussions. eg. "How do I do this in vBulletin?", "Can this product do this?", "What does this feature do?", etc I have one forum that I'd like to place that in. I used the vb built in announcement feature but it placed the announcement below the subforums and I want it on top of the sub forums. |

I believe that is just here - vboptions > forum listing display options > Show Forum Descriptions in Forum Listings > yes

I have it set to yes but it doesn't work like that. I could have sworn it was a mod. I looked in the 3.7 and 3.8 template mods but I don't see it. Thanks though.

Really... I have that option set to Yes on my forums and I get exactly what they have here - a box with the forum description in it. If that isn't what you want, then I'm not sure what it is. I suppose you could just add a box in FORUMDISPLAY that only shows in a certain forum (if $forumid == x then.... )
