right now my navbar doesnt have borders and looks like this :

that would be in your CSS .... if there is another plce that has it you can assign your nav bar the same CSS class and it should work ...it always helps if you link us the site to view

ive messed with the Css from the admin CP and ive changed a few things from there but i dont know how to make the borders show like they do on the 2nd pic i posted |

you can change the table to having a border to 1 or add to CSS border-style:solid
