hi there ! I'm having some trouble in this :
I'm pushing my user to use the Edit function (instead of double posting) the trouble is that the modified post haven't the "new" icon , and aren't show under "new posts" so no one is going to click them again. how can i set the edited posts to be shown as "New" ? (the problem is that if edited posts aren't flagged , no one ( including me ) is able to recognise that the topic is been modified, exept by clicking (without a specific reason) on the topic looking for the EDITED BY at the end of each reply. and that is what i need , make my user note that they need to read that topic again, because it's been modified ) (i tried to search but i found nothing ) thank you in advance thank you in advance |

It would be very difficult as vBulletin orders the posts in a thread by date. In order to show as unread the postdate would need to be set to the edit time, which would move the post to the bottom of the thread, garbling any discussion.
