How do you tell if a site is rouge, when they share vb.org mods ?
Was getting alot of trafik from a site named *** Removed, no need to advertise them. ***
well i went to check it out,. and god damn, alot of the released mods here are "re released" and authors replaced with alternative authors claiming craetion. So im wondering is that considered piracy ? |

The only person who can answer that question, is the author of the modification posted on such a site. He/she might have given permission.

and other's claim them as their own.. and they link to downloads of nulled boards and modifications. guess that qualify's for piracy or ? |

If they are distributing your work without your permission, then you should contact them and request removal. If they do not comply, sent them a DMCA notice.
