Can't post in social groups
Hi,
I am the admin. I gave me and all moderators privileges to all functions in social groups. I created a group and invited users but when I go to this group, there isn't any editing box or a place where I can write any new post or discussion. Can someone help? Thanks. |

I ran into that issue on a few sites I maintain, each had to be updated to Latest Stable Version to correct that error. But, it may differ in your case.

Create a new style with no parent - Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style > no parent - then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

Look guys, I disabled the hook system. I tried with the default template but still, all I am getting is the member names but nothing under them...no where to write anything....I am going to write a support ticket now at vbulletin.com. I see there are a lot of issues with social groups there in version 3.8.0
--------------- Added [DATE]1232921671[/DATE] at [TIME]1232921671[/TIME] --------------- Sorry. Found the error. I went to an option "edit the group" and there were 2 choices..allow albums and allow messages...God but what is the need for those 2 options there? Who is going to create a group and not allow messages!!!! I think they should omit that option. |
