Forum Permissionis question...
I have several private forums that are paid subscription to access.
The way they are set up now works, no one sees them unless they pay the subscription and then they magically appear at the bottom of the board. Now my question is... Is there a way I can set it where Everyone can see the Forum name, and description but not be able to enter the forum, see the threads etc unless they have paid? I'm just thinking if they see the forums down there and read the description they will be tempted to subscribe to go in. LOL. If its possible can I get a very "clear" walkthru on how to do it. Im new to vbulletin. Less then a month using this software, and am totally lost on all the settings. Any help appreciated. thanks. PS for my current settings: I set it to NO so its private. the subscription puts them in a specific user group and that usergroup has full aceess to the forum. All other groups are set to DENY ALL. |
