vB dropdown menu causes MultiQuote and Quickreply buttons to stop working in postbit
I have followed the instructions in the vB user manual to add a dropdown menu in my navbar using the class vbmenu_control.
When I add the new menu, I have noticed that the Quickreply and Multiquote buttons in the postbit stop working, ie. clicking on them has no effect. Removing the menu from the navbar resolves the problem and the buttons start working again. Any ideas how to solve this? |

It sounds like you've done something wrong. Perhaps post the stuff you've added and a couple lines above and below the added stuff so we can take a look. (Please use the code/php/html tags when posting code)

I have several drop-down (I assume that is what you mean) menus on my 3.8 test board that I added.

Are the MultiQuote and Quickreply buttons in the postbit working fine? |

hmm... maybe I did make a mistake, though I'm using version 3.7.
I'll have to double-check I guess. |

I found out what the problem was, apparently vBulletin does not accept 'posts' as one of the vB dropdown menu's id's / names, which I was previously using on my forum. All I had to do was choose an alternative name other than 'posts' and that fixed the problem. I think vB already uses that id for some other function.
