Remove 1 Users Post Count

I have a news posting bot. I just reset his post count to 0 everytime he reaches 1000. I could care less how many posts he has, not it isn't a big deal to me to zero out his count every once in a while. If you want to keep track of the post count, you could probably enter it in his user notes or signature.
