Does anyone know of a mod which would allow me to mark threads/posts "for the attention of" (FAO) another user?
I use vB in several sites for providing product / tech support. In each site, there is a core team of staff who handle the support issues. I'd really like some way of marking a thread / post "for the attention of" one of the other staff members, and an easy way for staff to find posts/threads marked for their attention. So, say I'm handling a support thread, and it turns out the affected code is some other staff members responsibility, I'd like to be able to throw that issue over the fence to them by marking it "FAO" that person. -- hugh |

You could use Thread Prefixes for this?

Thanks for the suggestions. I think a combination of thread prefixes, the Quick Prefix Filter mod and some template conditionals will do the job. I'll need to add some conditionals, as I only want staff to be able to set (or see) the prefixes. I don't want Joe Idiot marking all his posts for my attention.
