How to allow specific members to edit specific posts?
We have our forum set so posts can't be edited after 60 minutes.
However, there's a few STICKY posts that some members maintain, and it would be good if we could allow some specific members to be able to edit some specific threads. Is this possible? |

I guess this is not possible then?

You could make them "site helpers" and set their permissions to be able to edit posts? A bit like a down-graded moderator ??

As suggested, you could put them in a secondary usergroup and then create a plugin to give users in that usergroup longer editing permission. But, it would be for all threads, not just stickies, so you need to think about whether that is what you want.

Many thanks for the replies.
I will try one of the recommendations. |
