Last post by column - how to add a 1 pixel width border to the left and right?

Hi thanks,

1st Alt I have: border-right: 1px solid #e3e3e3;

2nd Alt I have: border-right: 1px solid #e3e3e3;


But look at the problem. Unlike in the example of how I want the forum to look (http://i35.tinypic.com/e81udj.jpg), there is a line to the right of the statusicon column:



Also, I circled where the text is creeping over into the next column, but that's a separate issue :-/
