Unless your 3.7 mods take advantage of a specific feature in that version, your 3.6 mods probably work perfectly fine. The only 3.7 specific mod that I have installed is the Welcome Headers one because the new Notices feature completely changed how it works. There was no reason to upgrade any others simply because the version changed in vBulletin.
The release system could probably use an update here so people get an accurate representation of downloads and installs. Instead of having mods in different forums allow sorting by version than authors can provide a minimum version and maximum vBulletin that the mod version works with. When they update it for a new version of vBulletin, they can specify that vbplugin 1.36 works with vB 3.8+. etc... Would make it a lot easier to find things if you can filter not only by type of mod but the version of vBulletin you are using. Could even apply the version filter automatically using a user profile field. --------------- Added [DATE]1227277957[/DATE] at [TIME]1227277957[/TIME] --------------- I do this all the time if I see a mod that I want to investigate further. Yeah, I can tag mods but the interface is convoluted and difficult to use. I don't want to go into a form, scan it, select the option I want and then submit the form. I just want to click a link "Tag Modification". This link isn't offered so I click install instead. Gives me what I want. When I am done investigating the mod, I click uninstall if it doesn't fit my needs. Most of the time I don't even download it. |

As mentioned elsewhere, the "Tag" option will be added to the main mod options similar to the install option, so it will be more obvious and easier to use.

Just my two cents for what it isn't worth
![]() My experience with vb.com forum was terrible. Very nasty people. Heaven forbid you have a legit complaint and post it online there, even in the most courteous of ways. The vb regulars (vampires) will suck the life out of you with nasty returns. It got to the point where I wanted to ask some of them if they had a life outsite of VB. LOL Of course, I re-read my post many times and couldn't comprehend this vial nonsense so I thought maybe it was me. I asked about ten people, one of who is the owner of one of the largest VB skin sites out there and he said he rarely goes there anymore because of this same problem. So maybe people are just tired of the nonsense over there? I don't know? To be quite honest and please be nice. I think vb's forum is too big and they have lost control of it to some extent. I haven't found this same problem here though, even with the large amount of traffic. Most that I've dealth with seem quite civil, even in the lounge and talking politics. LOL Have a Thanksgiving everyone. Quote:
