1. Well, now you know to never upload to your default! Always upload to a new style and then if you want, you can change the parent of the child styles to be the new style after you get it all set up correctly.

3. It looks like you need to change the font color in the css. I'd look in your page source and find the class and then try changing it in your Main CSS. (I'm assuming the text is actually there, but the same color as the background, correct?)
