Posts still indexing in search engine even though set not to...
Alright...So I recently added a NSFW forum to our site...
I clicked the setting in the Forum Management in the AdminCP to NOT index posts in the search engine....BUT the threads are still showing up in the New Posts screen... Is it supposed to do this?? and if so, how do I make it so that they don't??? Thanks! |

You need to add the exlclude forum id to the New posts search string in the navbar

You add it to the navbar or whatever template you are using for the navbar links.
To exclude forums in the New Posts button, you may add "&exclude=xx" or "&exclude=xx,yy,zz" (separate the forumids by commas) to the end of the New Posts url... ie. "/forums/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=xx" |

What I did is make the nsfw forum only viewable by people who joined the nsfw group.
