Hi there,
Is there any modification or way in which I can use vB to formalise the process of requests for usergroup changes? e.g. Member A wants his account suspended (set to "Unregistered/Not Logged In"). So he can log in to vB and complete and submit a form detailing his request, which will be e-mailed or noted in AdminCP for Admin(s) to deal with. e.g. Member B wants to join and send a PM immediately after reading a thread. She joins but finds that because of the Permissions settings she is in the "New Member" usergroup (without PM capabilities) and needs to make 20 posts before being promoted to the "Member" usergroup. She would like to fill out a form to submit to Admin to request that she is promoted immediately. Does such a function exist currently, and if not how would I go about procuring such a function? Thanks in advance for your help. |

such a function doesn't exist as requested but you can skip the 'send pm' and just use the Promotions (Usergroup Manager)

In my AdminCP I see a heading: Usergroups > Join Requests.
What is this for? How can I let people make requests to join usergroups? |
