Default What to do for my website?

I just recently got a car, and since it's in such good condition I want to restore this car, and enhance it.

I figured if I was going to do this I would just setup a blog or something where I could post pics of things I've done, keep track of expenses and such and just generally put this stuff out there for anyone interested to see, and possibly add there own content.

I've looked at wordpress and I don't really like it, But at the same time I don't think that vbulletin would really suit the purpose entirely.

I want to use vbulletin, and originally was going to use WP and vB together, but I just don;t like WP.

What could I do to have a sort of blog like interface where I could post these mods, and expenses etc, but using vbulletin instead.... or vbulletin and something else.

Maybe just create a section for your car, and only you can post new threads in that section, but anyone can reply?

I want to do something a little more "blogish" for the front end, and have vbulletin as the method for handling posted comments and such from the front end, as well as having it be a forum for discussion of this particular car.

Im not going for a highly popular site, I really just wanted to accomplish the following;
-give me something to do tinker with in my spare, moneyless, time.
-have a way to keep track of what I've done/doing to my car, since I want to do this anyway, i might as well "blog" it so any other interested people can see it.
-make use of a vbulletin license that Im not currently using.... I like toying with vB.
-most importantly, keep track of expenses and repairs etc for my car, in some form of well organized fashion.

is there any good blog mod for vbulletin that will allow only me to have the blog.... Im not sure if i want each user to have there own blog. or something that will let me have some kind of blog like forum hybrid?

you could also have a look at http://wikkawiki.org/ if you decide to use something alongside vB.
