I currently have a google search bar over a repeated image bar, see here.

http://www.homecinemacentral.co.uk/forums/index.php

But its only set in the horizontal position by placing a '!' in the header code which shows up on the page, see left hand side. What I need is a tweak to remove the '!' while keeping the same search bar position.

Anyway, try changing the ! to a line break:
