is there a way to make it when a user registers he / she cannot login until the email is verified?

You can change all you want there.

this is not what i want todo though, what i want is when a user registers, it says You cannot login to your account until your email address is verified. something like that... i think phpbb has this feature and why not vb?

If you require email verification, then the user will not be able to post or anything until his email is verified.

But he can login...

Thats the point, disable the login ability independing of the group or pending permissions

Should be like:

- Person register
- Admins/Mod's receive info "User XXX dubmited registration on your board"

- Aprove (Send activation email)
- Reject (Reason of deny)
