Admin Notes on Users A nice feature would be to add a section to the Admin CP that references a new field in the User Profile called Admin Notes. We'd be able to use that to note reasons for banning, alternate egos that crashed back in, exchanges regarding viewing problems and the like. Naturally, it shouldn't show in the user's view of his profile. I would really like this option...can anyone help? |

Actually go to User Profile Fields > Add and set the following options:
Field Required? No Field hidden on profile? Yes Field Editable by user? No and then any admin will be able to see and/or edit it. And mods will be able to see it (if you give them permissions to view the whole user profile). |

Thanks for that but I was looking to add a field in admins CP Edit User. I believe it would have to go in users.php.

tubedogg's suggestion is exactly what you are looking for - it will display the new field in the edit user screen (in the "Custom Profile Fields" category).

With all due respect, where would you think that the idea I gave above would show up if not under Edit User?
