Don't be sad, the tools someone can build on vb.org are always integrated BECAUSE they are useful... never because the guys try to leech your work... all the new features that are listed above are there because they were requested and displayed here -- and downloaded and updated... so they are useful, people want them, that's a good thing, your codes are useful...
the only problem actually is that there is no list of credits for inspiration.. lol... the list would be immense!
Bringing users' album pictures out of the dark recesses of their profile, vBulletin 3.8 has a system to display the most recently-updated albums from all users in a unified interface. Now everyone will know when your members upload new pictures!
i kept saying they should though. Always better to have directly in vb then as a hack.
This sounds too good to be true. Everything I wanted, and a lot of the features me and others requested are in it.
An extensive rewrite of 4.0 with mvc architecture and xhtml/css design is a very good thing. I believe the mvc approach will make development of new versions much easier and faster.
And of course it's good we don't have to wait for years to see essential updates in 3.7.

Yes, if your hosting company does not meet vBulletin 4 requirements you will either have to continue to use vBulletin 3.7/8 or move to a hosting provider that uses the latest in php and MySQL (why hosts continue to use php4 is beyond me)
