3 Images in the category strip

I have 3 images for the category strip and only the middle one requires repetition across because it goes it the middle between the two. The other two of course go at either end and are made to fit, so there is no repetition needed there.

I am not sure how to code this in the vB field, any ideas?

You might want to post the current html used for that part of your site so we can suggest how you can make this work. Also, what are the image names?

There isn't a any HTML really.

In vBulletin, in the Styles and Templates area, and then under 'Category Strips' i am trying to send a background with cornered edges.

I suspected that I had to create the cornered edges' files, which I have done as follows:

Left edge: str_forumbar_l.gif
Main middle section: str_forumbar2.gif
Right edge: str_forumbar_r.gif

I hope I've made it a little clearer as to what I want to achieve here.

Just to add, I know that adding something like "url(images/gradients/str_forumbar2.gif) repeat-x" creates a single background, but I want the rounded edges to show up with the other 2 images. I don't know if this is possible without the images or not, but I don't know how to tell it to use the corner images.

You would do as you posted for the css (put the background gradient in there), but then you need to add the corner into the template itself. You would add the left corner and align it left and then add the right corner and align it right. That is the only way I know to do this (however, I seem to recall googling it and seeing other methods that are all css so you may want to do that).

I have also tried to Google it, but it isn't presented in a single line of code and whatever I put into vB it just ignores it and uses what ever is in the main field there.

Do you have any links that you think may work? I'm not even sure on what I'm searching for, rounding corners or aligning images...?

I took a quick look and I'm sure any of those methods will work fine, it's just a matter of you deciding which is easiest for you.
