Export Style
Can someone explain how to simply to export and package a style? I have a heavily modified theme in use on my forum that I would like to give away but not sure how to package it.
Thanks for your time. |

Hello,
Its just a matter of going to your style manager, pressing the drop down button on your style, and clicking export. Once the next page comes up, you don't need to change anything, just click download. You need to download the image folder from your server (some style designers have it in /images/stylename/* where as I have it /styles/stylename/*) and include it with the style XML you just download. Simply Zip the two together and you have a simple vBulletin style package. Hope this helps |

Make sure the images are not in the default /images/ directory. Move the images related to that skin to another directory e.g. /images/skin_name/ for example. If you overwrite peoples images they might get a bit annoyed.
(That is if you haven't done so already). |
