Default Style Chooser issue

This is infuriating.

We have decided to allow users to now use the default style aswell as custom style.

But I cannot for the life of me get the style chooser to display at bottom of forum, and or anywhere in usercp.

I have edited style and language settings, and allowed users to choose.

I have tried various other hacks, such as footer allow certain user id's etc.

Still nothing.

It displays for admin, but not for anyone else.

Any suggestions please

This is what admin see's in usercp > edit options.

Every other member does not see this choice or the choice at bottom of forum pages

I use Transverse styles and min shows up on the bottom right corner with a drop down only. Perhaps something happened in your installation and it got messed up.

when you say you edited the style option is that in your usercp or in the admin panel under options.

Edited in admincp.

Still no worky

Our users do not get the choice, in their USERCP, to change the forum style.

Even with permisions set in admincp, and under forums .

Have tried so far:

1. vboptions>style and language settings
2. forums & moderators>forum manager>edit
3. even in individual users in User manager

Even found a hack for adding to footer ( specific usergroups with permission to change style )

Any suggestions please

Can the additional forum skins be selected by the users

AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager

The other styles need to have the tick box "ticked"

Yep ticked...

I have trawled VB.com and VB.org and tried googling this..

has anyone got info, on HOW to set this up correctly, cos I certainly cannot find it.

Sureley there must be some logical setup, to allow all styles to be chosen by all users.

Have loaded a user page and a admin page on 2 diff p.c.'s and this is missing from user page

HTML Code:
<td class="footer">

			<select name="styleid" onchange="switch_id(this, 'style')">
				<optgroup label="Quick Style Chooser">
					<option value="1" class="" >-- Default Style</option>
<option value="4" class="" selected="selected">-- Web Point</option>

				</optgroup>
			</select>
		</td>
I have everything set in admincp, for I am sure to allow users to choose their own style, only thing I have not done :

Even have set a user to use Forum Default, in user manager admin cp

Unbelieveable.

Thinking im not as stupid as i look...

I looked at 2 or 3 products which we had disabled and decided to uninstall them.

Pauls users online hack, and his users who have registered hack, and lastly smnlikdat ajax hack

Not sure which one triggered this, but we now have the style chooser !!! for mere mortals

Phewwwwwwwwwwww
