Okay is these steps correct:

Download 3.7.2.
Close live forums.
Make backup [Incase].
Then change the upload folder to "forums" so it's the same as the one on my server.
Upload it and click overwrite all.
Then launch the URL with upgrade.php to upgrade.

Yup, and also disable any add-ons you may use, such as the Google toolbar - don't want to be causing any crashes.

Tapage, there's no need whatsoever to change the config.php unless stated otherwise in the release announcement, at least that's what I was taught.

You *may* want to use the new 3.7 config.php, it has new options, such as using XCache as the datastore.

I actually used the new one and went ahead with it. It was easy, and very simple. Thanks for the help guys and gals.
