Same license, new vbulletin site?
I've read the vbulletin licensing rules and it still isn't clear to me whether I can use the same vbulletin installation, the license I've already purchased on a new site, new domain and server... having in mind that the previous site on my old server is completely shut down and will not be used anymore. So technically I will be using my paid vbulletin forum on just one site like before... only the URL and database will be changed.
so I'm wondering... is this kind of "2nd installation" allowed? There is an option on vbulletin.com CP that enables changing the site's URL, so I assume they had predicted this. |

this should be ok.. and in vb.com members you can change the address where it is installed.

As long as your old board is completely removed, there is no problem is creating a new board with your current license. Just remember to change your site URL at vBulletin.com
Finally, please ask questions about unmodified vBulletin boards over at vBulletin.com as you will be able to receive an offical answer from the vBulletin Support Team. |
