Can i have those feature embeded into all the .shtml .cgi or .pl file

So when the user visit any part of the site, they will automatically know if they are login. If login it will say Welcome username, if not login the Login or Register will be displayed and etc.

Is that possible? If so what would be the link looks like?

check for a hack in the 2.x forum by RobAC see if that works for ya.
