Thanks for your help Calorie!
I've been all through the manual but I'm afraid it isn't very clear on answering my question. I understand that the upgrade doesn't change customized templates, and that I probably need to either revert them or manually change them. I choose to do it manually, so I can make sure the customizations are done exactly as they were. It's when I go to compare the two that it gets confusing, since the old template (old by date) is listed as the new one, and vice-versa. Now, granted I can switch them myself, and I do. But is that the right way to do it, or does it even matter? I'm not being very clear, let me put it into example. If you bought a car made in 2008, and you already had a car made in 2006, which is the new one? The 2008 of course. So why is my 2008 dated template listed as the old one in the admin, while my 2006 template is listed as the new one (see the image I attached in my first post). I'm probably making a mountain out of a mole hill here, but it is lending to a lot of confusion as I edit my templates. |
