Default Getting a lot of spammers
Who seem to be joining up to start with spam links in their signature before posting 'thanks for this discussion' in every thread. I have tried the normal Captcha stuff and now the Q+As but they're getting past it. Can anyone explain a complex way to help prevent this?

I had this problem until I use reCapcha (not the normal capcha or other useless verification), excelent system to prevent spam regsitrations. Not a single spam registration since I installed it.

Edit:
Wich vesion of vBulletin you have? Because reCapcha is now default in 3.7 i think. I use 3.6 and there is a mod to install it.

we are useing it and it sucks does not slow it down at all

i have been having the same spammers ever since i went to 3.7 i have removed over 50 posts, and members because of it. i will try the program you suggested above. thank you.
