Guide me please !!

Hiiiii..

There are a few things I'd like to understand well.

• My site is 2 months old. I want that I should be able to pay for the yearly cost of my site that includes bandwidth and hosting and other site related costs. Atleast the cost of hosting and all should be covered up. Google Ads aren't helping me much. Its taking too much time to generate a minimal amount.
• Please suggest me ways to generate a decent revenue from my site other than Ads and involving any further costs. (I don't want vBSEO for now OR any other paid enhancement to my site). But will surely look for upgrading from shared hosting as and when I actually need it.
• Have read many articles where Google Ads changed life of persons. I wonder how they get users to click on them. The fact is that I really do not remember when I last clicked on any Ad, then how can I expect somebody else to click on mine !!
• Should I go for a Paid Subscription feature, if yes, then what can I use it for? I mean, what should I make them subscribe to? I created an hidden forum only for the paid usergroup BUT what special can I put up there that the users get encouraged to subscribe?
• I have an advertise page BUT how do I make advertisers to approach to me for displaying their Ads?

The conclusion is just so simple. To fulfill all the above, what I need is promotion of site. How do I make people know that there is a tech forum out there and its worth joining , how to make them stay active throughout and encourage them to post?
I understand that this does not happen in a day but if I'll start from now, then only I can expect something within 4-6 months.

This is a catch 22. Your site needs traffic to generate ad revenue. As your traffic goes up, so does your hosting cost. If you are expecting to cover hosting costs on a brand new site within 6 months, you're going to be disappointed.

Ads on a brand new site are a bad idea, because they deter new registrations. Nobody wants to sign up to a new site with very little traffic, especially if it's covered in ads. Your best bet is to run no ads at all until you establish a steady amount of traffic and a consistent memberbase, and then slowly integrate ads into your site from there.

You want traffic, but you don't want to use vBSEO, which is a mistake in my opinion. If you aren't going that route, make sure that you take the time to install/mod your site as much as possible using the free modifications here.

Paid subscriptons work in some respects, but again if you have a new site with low traffic, the incentive to actually subscribe to your site is very low.

It's possible to cover your hosting with Adsense - a lot of us do. As far as advertising, banner ads will become more attractive to potential vendors once your site gets busy.

1. I had put up very limited ads, and i don't find users getting distracted with it rather they look good.

2. please give me idea about what special can I put up in the paid forum so that the users get encouraged to subscribe? my forum is actually a tech forum.

For my premium members:

- vB Image Host access
- Increased avatar size
- Increased PM storage
- Fewer adds for the base upgrade, no ads at all for $25 or more.
- Special Premium forum access
- No flood control.
