We have a forum in English and would like to start one in Spanish. The Spanish forum will be for the same community and topics focus but we will start out small. The two forums will be separate - meaning we want to be able to place a link somewhere to select our Spanish forum as an option rather than the English one.
This brings up many questions and decisions. vB.com directed me to vb.org for possible help. Is it possible to keep the Spanish forum separate as far as Members List, New Posts, Who's Online, board stats, and other such things but still be within our existing English forum? We are thinking it would better serve our business interests to have traffic for the two combined in our analytics, Google PR, Big Boards rank etc. If so, how would I set it up? Or is there a reason we would want to keep them separate? How would registrations function if they are separate? Any way to enable registration that will permit members to post on either forum under the same login? Thanks in advance for all help and ideas. ~Cynthia __________________ |
