Right now, one of my custom profile fields truncates the content after I save it. I tried one suggestion, going into the thread_fields_admin table and increasing options to a higher number. But it was already set to 400, and increasing it to 1000 had no effect. Is there anything else I can try to increase the limit of characters in form fields?

I can't find the thread_fields_admin table to see what type of field it is. If this is from a modification, perhaps you should post in the modification thread for help. Also, if this is a form field, you also need to change the stuff in the <input> tag.

Ur, well, I didn't think of that. I presumed the information I read was about a standard database table. Maybe that's why it had no effect. <smacks forehead>
Actually, I was just trying to increase the limit on a custom profile field created through the Admin CP. |

When you create a custom profile field, one of the options is "Max length of allowed user input". Why don't you just increase that?

My guess is because I'm an idiot.
