Remove replies column
Hello everyone, can someone tell me how to remove the number of replies column?
Over at vbulletin.com I used this thread to remove the "views" column - http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=222646 So the next step is the replies column. A big site I visit has removed the both the replies and the views column. Anyone else done this and why? Is it just me, are people more inclined to post in a popular thread? |

Hi
Without looking up the exact procedure, if you use that tutorial, but replace the word "views" with the word "replies".. or possibly "replycount", or similar, it will do the same. Doing it this way you'll probably learn a little more about why you're doing this, etc so its probably worth doing it that way re the second part of your question, I wouldn't personally remove these, they are important barometers of how popular a thread is. Let us know if you need more specific help on the main part of your question. |

thanks for that link it worked a treat, in my case i wanted to remove "replies" and "views" so i followed sdb's advice whereby you just delete the exact same code before views which contained "replies" instead and it works a treat.
