Has anyone signed up to Hulu.com? It's basically a free website that shows TV clips and episodes to full-length movies with minimal advertisement. They have a few selections now and expected to add a lot more soon. Here's a snippet of their About page:

Yeah. I don't know if it's a contractual or FCC restriction. Too bad because it has a lot of potential as streaming video content is becoming very popular.

It's not allowed outside the United States until they get approval from each geographic region to allow those shows/movies to be viewed in other nations.

I'd still like someone to test this using a proxy, as if you use a proxy for the United States, how is hulu going to know that you aren't in the US? Unless of course they have the tech to look right through proxies.

I've been on Hulu since Beta. Without writing a full review I love the site. The videos are some of the best quality I've seen on the net and the selection is pretty vast. I don't have all day to sit around and watch tv, so it's going to take a long time to see all that they have and with them adding new shows and movies, most likely impossible.

Very good site for entertainment and hopefully they'll continue to grow and open up the possibility for tv for anyone online.

I never disputed that concept, and I knew who owned it, been following them for awhile.

If out of country you cannot view with a Proxy Address, but an IP Mask from a program will allow you to view the shows/movies.

This was confirmed by a user on our site from England. So it is possible to get around it.

He's a fairly reliable source.
