Change Admin Password

Your password for the forums is the same as your password for admin control panel. You can set up a user with a lesser level of privileges for the forum and an "admin" that you only use to administer the forums if you want.

Be advised that when your forum was set up your user ID may have been set as "undeletable/unalterable" user in the includes/config.php script. In that case you would need to edit that script before you change your password.

You can change your password at "http://yourdomain.com/forums/profile.php?do=editpassword" (substitute your domain for "yourdomain.com") or through the User Manager in the admin panel.
