Importing Members into Paid Member Group
I posted this on vBulletin.com and was told it would probably require a custom import script. I'll be honest...I'm somewhat freaking out right now because we are launching this thing to 250+ members on Thursday night. We're having a big meeting and everything and I need the site to be right by then (and this is not my only concern)! So, here is my question...
I am setting up a forum for a group where I will need to import paid members. I noticed that after we imported onto the test site and I put them in the paid member usergroup, they are not included in the "Subscribed Members" total...I guess because they didn't pay on the new site? Is there a way to fix this or does it really matter? Also, our memberships last one year. When it comes up to a year after their join date, I assume they will have to pay again and renew, correct? Or, since they are not listed in the Subscribed Members section, does it not see them the same way? Please, please help me!! --------------- Added [DATE]1207013775[/DATE] at [TIME]1207013775[/TIME] --------------- I think we found a solution. I'm going to import everyone over as regular members, temporarily change the subscription to .01 and have them all sign up again to be paid members. Then I can go in and edit all the dates to reflect when they actually paid the real amount. I'm thinking that would probably be the easiest solution. Just thought I'd share that in case anyone runs into the same issue. |
