Database moved issue
I have recently moved my database to a new server. I exported it using phpadmin and then imported it again using a shell.
What I have noticed since then is that there are a few attachments missing. I rechecked my old database on the old server and noticed that for some reason the database did not export although there were not errors. Now I have two databases of varying size. So my question is this.. Is it at all possible to create a difference between the two databases and only import the information that is missing? -PB |

Do you have your attachments stored in the file system or the database?

You could delete all the stuff you dont want reimported on old DB, and then use the impex to reimport the stuff you left out to the new DB.
probably not a very effeicent way, but it'd work |

That would not work with ImpEx i guess. ImpEx needs to also import the posts that these attachments belong to. It can not attach them to the posts that are already in the new database.
